Our story
With over 25 years of experience, Atelier du Chef has managed to find its way through the trials, challenges and adventures that demonstrate the resilience of our team.
Foundation of Equipment Mauvalin by Mauril & Bernard Simard, Donald Tremblay and Sylvain Gagnon.
Opening of the first branch at 1130 Rue Manic, Saguenay.
Membership in the ESI group.

Retirement of Mauril Simard, arrival of Michel Grenier as a shareholder.
Opening of a second Mauvalin Equipment store, located at 850 Pierre-Bertrand Blvd., Quebec City.
ESI Canadian distributor of the year.

Launch of the project team.
Equipements Mauvalin Inc becomes Atelier du Chef .

Inauguration of the demonstration kitchen at the Quebec branch.
Dino Bertin becomes a shareholder.
